Job Description: Design & Engineering Lead / Principal Solution Architect Physical Security, IT & ELV (Data Centres)

Job Role

Requiring Skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Solution Architect to lead the design, engineering, and execution of Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Physical Security, and integrated infrastructure systems for our Hyperscale Data Centre projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical blueprint creation, client-facing delivery, and cross-functional financial coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring all designs meet strict Hyperscaler specifications, managing international partner relations, and driving project milestones from procurement through to formal Tenant Order Form (TOF) closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Architecture & Engineering Design

- Act as the Design & Engineering SME for ELV, Physical Security Systems, IT deployment, and network for ACX Operations & End-customer User Spaces, Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and Radio over IP (RoIP) tailored specifically for Hyperscale Data Centres.
- Develop comprehensive, Tenant Order Form (TOF)-based physical security blueprints, including IP Video Surveillance (CCTV), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS).
- Translate complex end-customer specification documentation into approved, high-utility technical blueprints and Data Centre Infrastructure Management portals to guarantee formal customer acceptance.
- Well aware of Safety and Quality requirements in Design and execution of ELV for Global Datacentre Customers.

2. Client Delivery & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary customer-facing technical liaison, actively leading weekly progress meetings arranged by the client.
- Proactively manage, track, and resolve engineering and operational issues raised by the customer to maintain project timelines.




- Coordinate directly with deployment partners and commissioning teams to ensure site execution matches approved architectural designs.
- Coordination with JV partner for Project-wise DCIM related document uploads, Inventory logging and Asset Management support with necessary CAD configuration to meet ACX Operations Teams requirement (requires AutoCAD expertise).
- Design and deploy CCTV with Video Analytics supporting Company policy for EHS of Construction Workers, as being rolled out for each DC construction Site, as member of ACX Business Safety Council (BSC) Task Force #6 for Technology Intervention.

3. Procurement & Supply Chain Support

- Partner with internal Estimation and Procurement Teams to generate comprehensive Tender Documentation and technical specifications.
- Facilitate timely Purchase Request (PR) generation and tracking to ensure seamless Purchase Order (PO) releases for Customer Approved Design Consultation, Project hardware and software.

4. Financial & Contractual Governance

- Collaborate with the Contracts Team to ensure accurate and timely billing for all Tenant Order Form (TOF) related services, including Security, RoIP, and Telecom infrastructure.
- Coordinate with International Partners, global consultants, and internal Finance/Payments teams to review invoices, validate supporting documentation, and secure punctual international payment releases.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: BE with 10-15 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical SME, or Design Engineer specializing in ELV, IBMS, and Physical Security infrastructure within Hyperscale Data Center environments.
- Technical Depth: Deep technical knowledge of IP CCTV, PACS (e.g., Lenel, Exacqvision, Genetec), DCIM tools, RoIP systems, IBMS, VMs and network topology layout.
- Project Governance: Solid understanding of the Data centre commissioning lifecycle, procurement workflows (PR/PO processes), and contract billing milestones linked to Tenant Order Forms (TOF).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of managing international partners and clearing customer bottlenecks.
