Role & responsibilities

• To understand the pedagogical plan of a project

- To contribute towards documents like competition analysis and vertical-horizontal plan
- To review content received from the author and ensure that it is in keeping with the blueprint as well as curriculum guidelines
- To identify and commission authors and work closely with them to carry out the vision for a particular series of content, keeping the focus on the learner
- To follow the editorial processes, guidelines and standards
- To ensure compliance to local and global editorial standards and curriculum frameworks
- To manage tasks such as seeking copyright permissions, planning and commissioning illustrations, sourcing photographs
- To manage deadlines and schedules without compromising on quality

Preferred candidate profile

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF editor
- Sound editorial and content development skills
- Minute attention to detail
- Growing understanding of pedagogy
- Understanding of quality standards
- A proactive and versatile approach to work
