- Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 6-7 years of hands-on experience in expediting operations for Mechanical and Electrical components.
- Experience in medium to large-scale manufacturing, EPC, Data Center, Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial Plants, or Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment, fabricated components, and project materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, quality teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project schedules are met.
- Track manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to minimize delays.
- Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and agreed delivery schedules.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and monitor equipment readiness before dispatch.
- Prepare weekly expediting reports, progress dashboards, vendor visit reports, action trackers, and recovery plans.
- Present project progress and critical updates to project teams and senior management.
