- Install and commission current medical equipment in coordination with vendors and clinical teams.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and performance verification on all biomedical equipment as per schedule.
- Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and hospital standards.
2. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment history, maintenance, calibration, and repair.
- Ensure documentation meets standards of NABH, JCI, NABL, CAP or other applicable accreditation bodies.
- Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with biomedical equipment-related safety norms.
3. Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory records for all biomedical equipment.
- Track asset lifecycle, including warranty, AMC/CMC, and end-of-life planning.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for new equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
4. Vendor and AMC Coordination
- Liaise with OEMs and third-party service providers for service contracts, repairs, and upgrades.
- Monitor AMC/CMC vendors to ensure adherence to SLA (Service Level Agreements).
