- Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica PowerCenter and related components.
- Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of the Informatica platform.
- Manage repository services, integration services, nodes, and domains.
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot performance or failure issues.
- Implement user security, role-based access, and folder-level permissions.
- Coordinate with developers for deployment and migration of code across environments.
- Handle backup and recovery of Informatica repositories.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and issue resolution.
Required Skills:
- 4 5 years of experience in Informatica administration (PowerCenter 10.x or higher).
- Robust knowledge of domain configuration, high availability, and load balancing.
- Experience with managing metadata, logs, and repository services.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and basic shell scripting.
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and writing SQL queries.
- Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M).
