Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements, company safety policies, statutory regulations, and project-specific safety procedures.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor all civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and commissioning activities to ensure safe work practices.
- Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities including hot work, work at height, confined space entry, electrical work, excavation, and lifting operations.
- Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) before commencement of critical activities.
- Conduct safety induction programs, daily toolbox talks, and refresher training for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements across the project.




- Monitor safe installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, UPS systems, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, battery rooms, HVAC systems, CRAC units, and fire protection systems.
- Supervise electrical safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), isolation procedures, temporary power distribution, and energized work controls.
- Ensure protected execution of heavy lifting operations involving chillers, generators, transformers, electrical panels, cooling equipment, and prefabricated modules.
- Monitor scaffolding, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP), ladders, cranes, lifting tools, and rigging equipment before use.
- Ensure safe work at height by inspecting full-body harnesses, lifelines, anchor points, and fall protection systems.
