Key Responsibilities

- Receive, verify, and process clinical samples according to laboratory SOPs.
- Perform DNA extraction, quantification, and quality assessment from blood and other biological specimens.
- Execute molecular diagnostic workflows, including NIPT, PCR, qPCR, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), as applicable.
- Prepare sequencing libraries and perform quality control at each stage of the testing process.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain molecular diagnostic instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation of test results, quality control data, and laboratory records.
- Adhere to laboratory quality standards, biosafety guidelines, and regulatory requirements (NABL/CAP/CLIA/ISO, as applicable).




- Monitor reagent inventory and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
- Assist in validation, verification, and implementation of new molecular assays and technologies.
- Collaborate with pathologists, molecular biologists, genetic counselors, and laboratory scientists to ensure timely test reporting.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs and laboratory audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free laboratory setting.
