Role & responsibilities

The role will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to the sales team, managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. The role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of safety valves, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Order Execution:

- Presales Document Preparation: Utilize the Sales Configurator tool to perform sizing calculations and generate accurate presales documents for customer quotations.
- Offer Submission: Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial offers along with all necessary supporting documents, ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Technical Query Management: Address and respond to any technical queries (TQs) received from customers, ensuring all responses are delivered within agreed timelines.
- e-Tendering Process Management:
- Download and review RFQs from government e-portals.
- Submit pre-bid queries and clarifications through mail or portal.
- Ensure proper offer submission via e-portal as per customer requirements.

Post-Order Execution:

- Order Release & Documentation: Manage the order release process through CRM and SAP systems. Prepare all necessary documentation for customer submission, ensuring completeness and compliance with specifications.
- Post-Order Documentation Management:



Ensure that all post-order documentation is completed on time, including manuals, certificates, and compliance documents, in line with customer requirements.
- Order Management Coordination: Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team and Field Sales for the timely execution of orders, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Final Documentation Creation & Submission: Prepare and submit final documentation packages per customer specifications, ensuring all aspects of the project are properly documented and delivered.

Key Requirements:

- Education: Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-7 years of experience in a technical or application engineering role, preferably within the safety valve or industrial valve industry.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with e-tendering processes and handling RFQs from government portals is a plus.

- Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge of safety valves, flow control, and related systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details clearly and effectively to customers and internal teams.
- Proficient in using Sales Configurator tools for sizing calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
- Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy in documentation.
