Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Facade Designer with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in facade engineering and design. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in developing complex facade systems, creating comprehensive shop drawings, and preparing highly accurate fabrication and assembly outputs for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Shop Drawings & Detailing: Independently prepare and review comprehensive architectural shop drawings, including Architectural Plans, Elevations, Structural Sections, Partial Elevations, and intricate connection details using AutoCAD.
- System Knowledge: Apply a deep understanding of various Curtain Wall Systems (Unitized, Semi-Unitized, Stick) and diverse Facade Systems (Solid Aluminium, ACP, Spider Glazing, Stone Cladding, Skylights, and Louvers).
- Material Selection: Select and integrate appropriate materials, components, gaskets, hardware, and sealants while adhering to project specifications and engineering standards.
- Material Take-Off (MTO): Accurately quantify materials and generate precise Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Take-Offs to support procurement and budgeting.
- Production & Fabrication Drawings:



Create detailed Fabrication Drawings and Assembly Drawings optimized for factory production and site installation, ensuring zero-error tolerances.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with structural engineers, project managers, factory production teams, and site installation crews to resolve technical discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum Education (Mandatory): * Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering OR
- Diploma in Architectural Drafting

- Experience: Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience in Facade/Curtain Wall design.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Knowledge of Revit (BIM) or Rhino/Grasshopper is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: Proven track record of translating complex architectural concepts into practical, buildable fabrication details.
