Our client is an established, four-decade-old electronics and home-appliance manufacturer based in Goregaon West, Mumbai, and a trusted supply-chain partner to leading multinational brands. They are a professionally run, growing manufacturing enterprise connected to the Western Line.

Role & responsibilities

- Material planning and raising purchase orders against indents.
- Following up with vendors on pricing, order status, and timely delivery.
- Maintaining accurate purchase records, GRN entries, and documentation.
- Preparing basic purchase reports and price comparisons in Excel or ERP.
- Coordinating internally with stores, accounts, and production.
- Supporting vendor evaluation and routine negotiations.
- Identifying new vendors and discovering competitive component/material pricing.





Preferred candidate profile

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in purchase or procurement, ideally in manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Tally, SAP MM, or a similar ERP for purchase entries.
- Comfortable with MS Excel comparatives, tracking, and basic reports.
- Clear coordination with vendors and internal teams, written and verbal.
- Currently residing in the Mumbai Western Suburbs.
- Valuable to have: exposure to electrical, electronic, or plastic component buying; familiarity with GRN, vendor reconciliation, and PO/GST documentation.
