MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES -

- Organize her/his lab workload efficiently.
- To carry out the NPD batches, existing product modification, cost reduction and validate results against historical data and with benchmark samples.
- Should be proficient in resin chemistries like acryics, alkyds, polyesters etc
- Should have positive knowledge in structure property relationship of polymeric resin
- Responsible on the SHE implementation on the application lab. Assumes individual responsibility for safety in the lab. Responsibility for equipment or raw materials.
- Delivered timely results in support of external/internal customer requests
- Provides experimental data and documents results
- Co-ordinate with Plant as and when needed
- Actively participate with cross functional teams
- To fullfil requirement assigned by SHE team




- Should be capable of handling basic instruments like Viscometer, Colorimeter, Turbidimeter etc
- Prepare the working procedure with comply with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Should have basic know how of paint preparation
- To do the internal calibration of lab equipments and ask the external party for the lab equipments which we cant do internally.
- Will have to work closely with technical service team
