Job Purpose:
Managing the entire employee life cycle from hire to retire within TAT.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Lead the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Timely management of Plant & HO Payroll.
- Reconcile monthly payroll data, including earnings, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (TDS) regulations.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, tax reporting, and monthly reconciliations.
Statutory Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure strict adherence to payroll statutory compliance for PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc., including preparation and filing of returns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations in India to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders as required.
Employee Payroll Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, addressing queries related to salary, deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
- Manage payroll escalations and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.
Benefits & Tax Management
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits impacting payroll, including gratuity, medical insurance deductions, and other perks.
- Manage income tax calculations and deductions, issue Form 16,
and ensure accurate tax compliance for employees.
- Conduct regular audits to validate benefit-related deductions and tax calculations.
Payroll Process Optimization
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and reduce processing times.
- Payroll data integration to HRIMS (Spine).
- Collaborate with HRIS or IT teams to integrate payroll system updates, ensuring data accuracy and seamless payroll workflows.
- Managing the employee life cycle through HRIMS.
- Document payroll processes, policies, and best practices to maintain consistency and improve efficiency.
HR Operations
- Managing the complete employee life cycle which includes but is not limited to Onboarding, Probation assessment, Confirmation, PMS, Training, Employee Engagement, and Exit Formalities.
- Vendor Management.
- HR Administration including travel, AMCs, and Housekeeping.
- Policy formation & implementation.
Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills (Preferred/Essential)
Qualifications
Any Graduate, MBA / PG.
Experience (Preferred/Essential)
68 years in Payroll Management & HR Operations from the Manufacturing Industry (Excel & HRIMS).
Software Skills (Preferred/Essential)
Advance Excel & HRIMS Essential
Soft Skills (Preferred/Essential)
Positive Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Essential
