Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, set up, and monitor sheet extrusion lines for materials including G PET, A PET, RPET, TPU, PP, HIPS, LLDPE, ABS, PC, and PS.
- Perform machine setting and parameter control (temperature, pressure, speed, die gap, chill roll settings) based on material specifications.
- Ensure consistent sheet thickness, width, surface finish, and clarity as per quality standards.
- Handle material changeovers, color changes, and start-up/shutdown procedures efficiently.
- Monitor production output and minimize wastage, scrap, and downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot process defects such as bubbles, gel formation, thickness variation, warpage, and surface defects.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns.
- Maintain production records, material consumption logs, and quality check sheets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping (5S), and SOP guidelines.
- Support trials for new materials,



recycled content (RPET), and process optimization.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid hands-on experience in sheet extrusion process.
- In-depth knowledge of PET (G PET, A PET, RPET), TPU, PP, HIPS, LLDPE, ABS, PC, PS processing behavior.
- Understanding of polymer drying requirements, especially for PET, PC, and ABS.
- Knowledge of extrusion dies, chill rolls, calendaring systems, and winding units.
- Ability to read and follow process sheets and quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of QC tools like micrometer, thickness gauge, and visual inspection.

•Awareness of recycling material handling and contamination control (RPET).

Qualifications & Experience

- ITI / Diploma in Plastics Technology, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.
