Job Title: Senior Data Engineer( Aurora PostgreSQL)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL to design, build, and manage scalable and highperformance data platforms. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance of data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL databases
- Develop and maintain database schemas, data models, and access patterns
- Handle database lifecycle activities (provisioning, upgrades, backups, HA)
- Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards




- Support ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion workloads
- Integrate with AWS services, Databricks, and analytics platforms
- Automate database operations using scripts and AWS tools
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support

Skills Required:

- Strong expertise in Aurora PostgreSQL
- Positive knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning and optimization
- Handson experience with AWS (RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines
- Exposure to Aurora MySQL / MongoDB (good to have)
- Familiarity with Databricks / data lake platforms
- Knowledge of Terraform / CloudFormation (good to have)

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Engineering
