The Head Projects will lead and coordinate the endtoend design and development process for all hospitality assets under the Adani Groups hospitality portfolio. This role acts as the central interface between the operator, designers, and AOCs project execution teams, ensuring that each development meets brand standards, operator specifications, and Adanis internal guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

1. Design Coordination & Approvals

- Review, validate, and approve the Design Briefs submitted by hotel operators.
- Coordinate and align the inputs between operators, designers, brand teams, engineering consultants, and AOC (asset owning company) project teams.
- Ensure all design iterations meet operator brand standards and comply with Adanis internal technical, sustainability, and safety guidelines.
- Facilitate design workshops, value-engineering discussions, and operator design sign-offs.

2. Project Tracking & Governance

- Create and maintain a centralized project tracking system covering timelines, milestones, design submissions, approvals, and change management.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with AOCs project execution teams for each hospitality asset.
- Highlight delays, risks, or design deviations early and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide periodic updates and dashboards to the Country Head and senior leadership.

3. Stakeholder Management

- Act as the point of contact between:
- Hotel operators (design, technical services, brand teams)
- Architects, interior designers, and specialist consultants
- AOCs project execution teams
- Internal functions (legal, finance, procurement, ESG,



sustainability)
- Ensure seamless coordination among all parties throughout the asset development lifecycle.

4. Brand Standards & Compliance

- Ensure hospitality developments adhere to all brand guidelines, including guest experience design, back-of-house layouts, sustainability requirements, and technical specifications.
- Align each project with Adanis internal design governance, engineering benchmarks, and ESG commitments.
- Oversee timely submission of design packages for operator approvals (concept, schematic, detailed drawings).

5. Quality, Efficiency & Risk Management

- Identify opportunities for standardization, value engineering, and design optimization across the portfolio.
- Ensure design choices support lifecycle cost reduction, operational efficiency, and long-term asset value.
- Maintain a risk register for all key projects and ensure mitigation actions are executed.

6. Project Handover & Closeout

- Ensure complete operator sign-off on final design sets prior to execution kick-off.
- Track readiness for hotel operator Technical Services and Pre-opening teams.
- Support handover documentation and ensure design compliance during project closeout.

Education

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven experience leading design and development for hotels or large-scale hospitality projects
- 15- 20 Years of experience in the interior design, architect for hospitality/hotels sector.
- In-depth knowledge of design management across Architecture, Interior, and MEP disciplines.
- Familiarity with global real estate standards and best practices in project development.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools to monitor project progress and performance.
- Expertise in managing design aspects across Architecture, Interior, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) is non-negotiable.
