Job Role Purpose & Objective : (Brief summary for the existence of the job role)

The Lead Regulatory Reporting is responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reports to relevant authorities. This role ensures compliance with applicable financial regulations, supports internal and external audits, and drives process improvements in reporting frameworks.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

1.Regulatory Reporting Oversight:

Lead the preparation and submission of reports such as FRY-9C, FFIEC031, FRY-14Q, and other RBI/SEBI/IRDAI mandated filings.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with local and international regulatory standards.

2.Policy & Compliance:

Interpret and implement regulatory guidelines and changes.

Maintain documentation of regulatory interpretations and reporting methodologies.

3. Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk, IT, Compliance) and external regulators.

Represent the organization during regulatory audits and examinations.

4.Process Improvement & Automation:

Identify gaps and inefficiencies in reporting processes.





Lead initiatives to automate and streamline reporting using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Python.

5.Risk & Control:

Monitor and mitigate risks associated with regulatory reporting.

Support internal control assessments and compliance reviews.

6.Training & Development:

Develop training materials and conduct sessions for junior staff on regulatory reporting standards and tools.

Ensure Incident Investigated and reported timely.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Total Experience

7–10 years in financial/regulatory reporting, preferably in banking, NBFCs, or large corporates

Certifications (If any)

FRM / CFA / Regulatory Compliance Certifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA

Competency & Skills Required

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.Role & responsibilities
