About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in .NET and C#, experience leading engineering teams, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

As a Backend Lead, you will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, mentoring developers, and ensuring the successful execution of backend initiatives while collaborating closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Frontend teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications and services Drive architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Own the delivery of backend projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and production issues
- Promote Agile development practices and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements




- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge of TypeScript and React
- Robust problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Golang development
- Prior experience in the ecommerce industry
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience working on high-scale transactional systems
