Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A; Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling and reporting skills, along with advanced PowerPoint presentation capabilities to create executive-level business reviews and management presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial drivers and support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and scenario planning.
Presentation & Reporting
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for leadership reviews, board meetings, investor discussions, and business updates.
- Translate complex financial data into transparent, visually compelling presentations.
- Design dashboards, charts,
and graphical representations of financial information.
- Ensure consistency in presentation formatting and corporate branding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 38 years of experience in FP&A;, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling, dashboards).
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and executive reporting.
