About the Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team building MAI Health's patient, provider, and admin platforms. You'll work across the stack from responsive front-end interfaces to backend APIs and database design shipping features used directly by patients, doctors, labs, and pharmacies.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs connecting portals, services, and third-party systems
- Work with relational/NoSQL databases for data modeling, queries, and performance
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into shipped features
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Debug, optimize, and scale existing systems as the platform grows
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) in an office-first setup
Must-Have Skills
- 15 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Front-end:
React.js (or similar modern framework)
- Back-end: Node.js (or equivalent server-side framework)
- Experience with REST API design and integration
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Version control (Git) and standard software engineering practices
- B.Tech/B.E./MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
Positive to Have
- Experience in healthcare-tech, fintech, or other regulated/data-sensitive domains
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Docker
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of API security and data privacy best practices
