Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) Techno-Functional Consultant to join a large-scale Oracle Retail transformation program for a leading retail client.
The client is currently migrating from Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) to Oracle MFCS V26, with a planned Go-Live in September 2026.
This role is primarily functional (approximately 70-80%) with a technical understanding of Oracle MFCS. The consultant will lead end-to-end testing, cutover planning, and production readiness while working closely with offshore development and QA teams. A basic working knowledge of Java is expected to understand integrations and troubleshoot issues.
The existing ecosystem includes multiple upstream and downstream integrations built using Java Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end testing activities across Oracle MFCS implementations.
Own cutover planning, execution, and production readiness during onshore deployment windows.
Coordinate with offshore development and QA teams to resolve blockers and ensure timely delivery.
Support stock ledger integrations and manage dependencies with upstream and downstream applications.
Analyze Oracle MFCS data models, APIs, batch jobs, and system interfaces to support functional and technical solutioning.
Assist in ongoing application enhancements and support activities within the Oracle MFCS platform.
Learn and contribute to custom Apache Airflow DAGs used for workflow and pipeline orchestration.
Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Required Skills
8 10 years of experience working with Oracle Retail applications.
Strong functional expertise in Oracle Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS), including:
Functional configuration
Merchandising business processes
Data model
Product knowledge
Valuable understanding of:
Oracle MFCS APIs
Data structures
Batch processing
Experience in end-to-end testing within Oracle Retail Cloud environments.
Proven experience leading cutover planning and execution for enterprise implementations.
Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and drive issue resolution.
Basic to working knowledge of Java to understand integrations and support troubleshooting.
Experience working with REST APIs and integrated enterprise applications.
Preferred Skills
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn Apache Airflow and custom workflow orchestration.
Prior experience in Oracle Retail Cloud migration or Oracle MFCS implementation projects.
Exposure to enterprise integration technologies such as:
Java Spring Boot
Kafka
REST APIs
Experience working in global delivery models with distributed teams.

Willingness to work in PST overlap hours (Night Shift / 3rd Shift).
