ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong resource management background to lead high-visibility AI data annotation projects.

Based in Noida, you will operate on US shift hours, managing a distributed workforce of contractors across the United States. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role requiring a blend of project management, workforce operations, and AI annotation domain knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own end-to-end project delivery task creation, assignment, deadline tracking, and status reporting
- Manage a pool of workers across multiple skill tiers in coordination with the recruiting team.
- Assign workers to tasks based on role, skill, and availability; monitor utilisation and capacity
- Conduct QA reviews of submitted work; issue rejections and track rework to closure
- Manage worker onboarding, NDA execution, and compliance documentation
- Monitor worker attendance and performance; enforce replacement protocols for no-shows
- Validate and approve monthly worker timesheets for billing accuracy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the US-based clients who attend syncs on the US shift
- Coordinate with recruiting teams to maintain a ready talent pipeline
- Maintain project dashboards, spend tracking, and audit-ready documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-8 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years managing contingent workforces




- Proven experience managing remote, US-based teams from an offshore location on US shift hours
- Strong resource management skills: scheduling, utilisation tracking, and capacity planning
- Experience with SOW-based engagements and deliverable/billing compliance
- Hands-on experience with contractor management or workforce platforms (e.g. TalentDesk, Deel, Upwork Enterprise, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal English; comfortable leading client-facing calls independently
- Robust Excel / Google Sheets skills for reporting and spend tracking

AI ANNOTATION EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED

This engagement covers content writing, text evaluation, code review, data labelling, multimodal data collection, and AI model testing. A PM with annotation domain knowledge will onboard faster and manage quality more effectively. The following experience is strongly preferred:

- Familiarity with annotation or labelling platforms (Labelbox, Scale AI, or similar)
- Understanding of quality rubrics, scoring guidelines, and QA workflows in annotation projects
- Exposure to LLM / GenAI workflows: fine-tuning data, RLHF, red-teaming, or model evaluation
- Experience managing workers across diverse domains: STEM, legal, medical, language, or code

GOOD TO HAVE

- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
