- Build custom reports (ALV, CDS-based) to support business reporting needs
- Develop custom forms (Smart Forms / Adobe Forms) for business documents
- Make approved customizations using S/4HANA's key-user extensibility tools (custom fields, easy logic, custom business objects)
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into working solutions
- Provide day-to-day support and fixes for existing custom developments
- Build custom dashboards and Fiori apps using SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services
- Develop side-by-side extensions using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP BTP
- Help design integrations with other systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and released APIs
- Keep documentation up to date and follow SAP's recommended practices for Public Cloud development
Required Skills:
- 45 years of hands-on ABAP development experience — reports,
forms, and general technical development
- Comfortable with ALV reports, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, and core ABAP fundamentals (including Object-Oriented ABAP)
- Good understanding of data dictionary objects and modularization
- Able to work independently once given clear requirements, and collaborate well with functional consultants
- Exposure to or basic understanding of SAP BTP / CPI integration with third-party systems
- Understanding of SAP development lifecycle and transport management
- Basic understanding of SD, MM, FI, PS, and PP functional processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
- SAP certification in ABAP (optional but desirable).
