Role overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Controllership professional to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, audit, and statutory compliance activities. The role requires strong expertise in accounting principles, GST/TDS compliance, reconciliations, and financial controls, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage vendor accounting, invoice validation, and payment processing.
- Handle month-end close activities including accruals, provisions, and journal entries.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support statutory and internal audits; coordinate with auditors for query resolution.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare management schedules and reporting decks.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives,



and strengthen internal controls.

Required Skills:

- Strong accounting and controllership knowledge.
- Experience in R2R/GL accounting and month-end close.
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in reconciliations, reporting, and audits.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4 HANA.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

- Experience in Controllership, Corporate Accounting, GL, Financial Reporting, or R2R functions.
- Exposure to Ind AS, financial controls, and compliance.
- Prior experience in shared services, GCC, or large corporate environments.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting timelines.
