Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Shipping Division at our Delhi office. This is a senior leadership role for someone with a proven track record in managing bulk vessel operations and global chartering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage bulk shipping operations for IndiaAfrica cargo movements.
- Negotiate and finalize Time Charter and Voyage Charter contracts.
- Draft, review, and execute Charter Party Agreements with a deep understanding of commercial and legal implications.
- Oversee end-to-end shipping logistics, including vessel nominations, cargo readiness, and loading/discharge operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, brokers, port agents, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize port turnaround times and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.





Eligibility & Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the shipping industry, preferably in bulk cargo.
- Must have successfully handled at least 10 voyages from Indian ports to Africa.
- Strong familiarity with Indian and African port operations and related logistics.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a shipping team or division.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
