Core EMS/NMS Skills
• Hands-on experience with EMS/NMS platforms (any of): Prefer NetCloud Manager experience
o NetCloud Manager, SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, Nokia NSP, Ericsson ENM, HP OpenView, etc.
• Strong understanding of FCAPS framework:
o Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security
• Experience in:
o Network monitoring & alerting
o Event correlation & incident handling
o Dashboard/report creation
Networking Fundamentals
• Solid knowledge of:
o TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
o Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF basics)
o Switching (VLANs, STP)
• Understanding of:
o WAN / SD-WAN / Wireless environments
Python & Automation (Must-have)




• Hands-on scripting experience in Python
• Experience in:
o Automating monitoring tasks & workflows
o Parsing logs / alerts
o API integrations (REST/JSON)
• Familiarity with libraries:
o Requests, Paramiko, Netmiko, Pandas (good to have)
Monitoring & Tooling
• Experience with:
o SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow
o Monitoring & alerting frameworks
• Ticketing tools:
o ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy
Good to Have
• Exposure to:
o Cloud networking / SD-WAN
o Ansible / automation tools
o Log analysis tools (Splunk / ELK)
