Your Role at a Glance:

As the Deputy Housekeeper, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations ensuring immaculate guest rooms, pristine public spaces, and the preservation of our historic architecture artifacts, and antiquity, showcasing aesthetics that define our brand. You will work collaboratively along with the Executive Housekeeper across various departments to address the unique complexities of maintaining the heritage charms, while implementing modern cleaning practices tailored to the luxury hotel environment. Your talented leadership will inspire the housekeeping team to deliver world-class service, and your eye for detail will uphold the timeless beauty of our property.

What Youll Do:

- Support the Housekeeping Management team in training and mentoring housekeeping and allied section teams to consistently deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, landscaped spaces, and event venues are impeccably maintained, reflecting the luxury ethos.
- Uphold the historic character of the property by balancing architectural integrity with modern comfort, hygiene, and safety standards
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Facilities teams to address maintenance concerns and ensure seamless upkeep of infrastructure
- Develop and implement contemporary cleaning protocols, incorporating sustainability and environmentally responsible practices
- Assist in managing departmental budgets,



inventory control, and procurement to ensure operational efficiency.
- Plan and monitor staffing schedules to optimize productivity and maintain service excellence at all times
- Conduct regular and detailed inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to luxury standards
- Identify and promptly address maintenance and cleanliness gaps, ensuring swift corrective action
- Monitor usage and control of housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment to minimize wastage and pilferage
- Prepare and submit periodic reports, updates, and performance metrics to the Executive Housekeeper
- Drive a culture of attention to detail, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations
- Play a proactive role in enhancing overall guest experience through operational excellence and service refinement
- Any other responsibility, charge, work or task assigned by the management from time to time.

Who You Are:

- A dynamic and detail-oriented professional ready to manage the housekeeping team.
- Experienced Deputy Housekeeper in a luxury or heritage hotel, with total experience of 8 to 12 years, with at least 4 years in managerial capacity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and preservation.
- The ability to balance operational efficiency with the delivery of an elevated guest experience.
