Roles & Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and implement highly available, scalable, and resilient Telecom BSS platforms.
- Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot Oracle BSS products (Oracle BRM, PDC, ECE, OCOMC, BIP).
- Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management for production environments.
- Manage production support escalations and act as the highest technical escalation point.
- Deploy and manage containerized Oracle BRM applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Design and support cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
- Define and implement observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, database, and security teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability.
- Develop operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and architecture documentation.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technology roadmap planning, and capacity management.

Must Have Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Telecom BSS environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BRM.
- Experience with Oracle PDC, Oracle ECE, Oracle OCOMC, and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).
- Strong knowledge of Telecom BSS Architecture,



Billing, Charging, and Mediation.
- Hands-on experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Robust Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience designing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Experience with production support, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
- Experience with cloud-native and hybrid deployments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution design skills.

Valuable to Have Skills

- Experience with Oracle BRM Cloud Native Environment (BRM CNE).
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Helm and Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of Telecom BSS integrations and API-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database architecture and administration.
- Experience with capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership experience.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and leading architecture discussions.
- Experience working in large-scale telecom production environments.
