What You'll Do

As a Business Central Technical Developer at LevelShift, you will:

- Develop Business Central Solutions: Design and develop custom tables, pages, codeunits, XMLports, and AL extensions to meet business requirements.
- Build & Enhance Reports: Create custom reports and modify existing reports to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Integrate Business Applications: Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
- Lead Upgrade Activities: Perform upgrades from legacy Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions to Business Central, supporting both On-Premises and SaaS environments.
- Design Custom Business Processes: Develop scalable and reusable solutions that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Translate Business Requirements: Analyze functional requirements and convert them into effective technical solution designs while ensuring best development practices.
- Maintain High Development Standards: Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code by following organizational coding standards and participating in peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with functional consultants, project managers,



and customers to deliver successful implementations within project timelines.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, reusable components, technical knowledge sharing, and organizational best practices.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to organizational quality standards, information security policies, and business continuity processes.

Your Skillset

We're looking for a Business Central developer with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality ERP solutions.

- Experience: Hands-on experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions.
- Business Central Development: Strong expertise in developing tables, pages, codeunits, XMLports, and AL extensions.
- Reporting: Experience developing custom reports and modifying standard Business Central reports.
- Integrations: Experience integrating Business Central with third-party applications using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
- Upgrade Experience: Proven experience upgrading Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central, including both On-Premises and SaaS implementations.
- Technical Design: Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solution designs while explaining solution architecture to customers.
- Coding Standards: Strong understanding of coding best practices, code optimization, debugging, and peer code review processes.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
