Green Sketch Consultants is a green building certification consultancy in Chennai, established in 2014. We have certified over 100 projects across India, the UAE and Bangladesh, and we currently run around 42 live projects across LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, EDGE and WELL industrial, institutional, hospitality, commercial and infrastructure.

Our Principal Consultant is a LEED Fellow, an IGBC Fellow, an EDGE Expert and Auditor, a GRIHA Certified Trainer and Evaluator, a WELL AP and a CII Certified LCA Professional. You will work with her directly.

We are looking for one person with two to four years of experience to take ownership of certification delivery.

What you will do

- Deliver assigned certification projects end to end registration through final award
- Prepare credit-level documentation and calculations across LEED, IGBC, GRIHA and EDGE
- Draft responses to review queries from IGBC, GRIHA and GBCI
- Coordinate with clients and design teams — architects, MEP consultants, contractors
- Carry out site visits, commissioning support and performance verification
- Review documentation prepared by junior team members before it is issued

What you need to bring





- Two to four years of professional experience in green building certification, energy performance, environmental engineering, or a related sustainability field
- Working knowledge of at least one green rating system, or of energy modelling, energy auditing, ECBC / ENS compliance, simulation, or LCA. We will train you on the rest
- Sound technical judgement — the ability to read a drawing set and understand what a building is actually doing
- Clear, precise technical English. A significant part of this work is written
- Accuracy with numbers.
- LEED AP, IGBC AP, GRIHA CP or EDGE Expert is an advantage.
