Role & responsibilities

- Support wiring harness design and development for automotive applications.
- Study vehicle electrical architecture, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics.
- Assist in harness routing and packaging activities.
- Create and update 2D drawings and electrical documentation.
- Support connector, terminal, and protective covering selection.
- Validate harness design against packaging and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain design records, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and engineering documents.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design reviews.
- Follow customer standards, quality requirements, and engineering processes.

Preferred candidate profile

- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and automotive electrical systems.
- Knowledge of wiring harness fundamentals.
- Understanding of connectors, wires, fuses, relays, and electrical protection devices.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA, AutoCAD or similar will be an advantage).
- Basic MS Excel and MS Office skills.
