Role Overview

Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and supporting DOCSIS-based broadband networks and cable gateway solutions. Strong expertise in DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0 architecture, CMTS/CCAP, provisioning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across large-scale operator environments. Proven ability to drive network reliability, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-performance broadband services.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive DOCSIS architecture strategy, standards, and technology roadmap.
- Lead architecture reviews for DOCSIS 3.1/4.0 deployments and broadband transformation programs.
- Provide technical leadership for CMTS/CCAP, DAA, R-PHY, and Remote MACPHY implementations.
- Drive network performance optimization, capacity planning, and service assurance initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex broadband network issues.
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve network reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including DOCSIS 4.0, FDX, Extended Spectrum DOCSIS (ESD), and Fiber Evolution strategies.




- Define operational best practices, automation frameworks, observability, and KPI-driven monitoring solutions.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and standards bodies to ensure successful technology adoption and deployment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 15+ years of experience in DOCSIS broadband technologies with deep expertise in DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0 architecture and cable access networks.
- Strong architectural knowledge of CMTS/CCAP, cable modems, provisioning systems, and end-to-end broadband service delivery.
- Proven leadership experience driving large-scale network deployments, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Expert in troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable DOCSIS solutions.
