Position: Server Engineer / Support Engineer
Experience: 1-3 Years Relevant Experience
Location: North Boag Road, T Nagar, Chennai

Role Overview

We are looking for a Server Engineer / Support Engineer to provide onsite support for our clients. The role requires frequent travel and field visits to customer locations based on service requests, installations, project deployments, preventive maintenance schedules, and issue resolution activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Server RAID creation and OS installation (Windows/Linux).
- Configure and manage Storage and SAN Switches.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, and hardware-related issues.
- Provide onsite support at client locations for server deployment, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Visit customer sites as and when required for installations, maintenance, breakdown support,



and project activities.
- Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VMware environments.
- Collaborate with Network, SOC, and Infrastructure teams for incident resolution.
- Maintain server and storage documentation.
- Prepare Incident Reports, RCA, and Change Management documents.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Server Administration and Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of RAID configuration, OS installation, Storage, and SAN technologies.
- Understanding of VMware, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, Switching).
- Robust troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and provide field support at client locations.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.

Work Location: North Boag Road, T Nagar, Chennai
Field Requirement: Candidate must be willing to travel and attend client-site visits across Chennai and nearby locations as per business and client requirements.
