Job Summary:

Hiring for a skilled gearbox design engineer with 5 6 years of experience in tractor or automotive transmission systems. The candidate will be responsible for design, development, and improvement of transmission components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and development of transmission systems (Gearbox, Clutch, Shafts, Gears, Bearings)

- Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models using Creo software.

- Perform design calculations (gear design, shaft design, bearing life)

- Concept development, layout design, and packaging.

- DFMEA, DVP, and validation activities.

- Cross-functional coordination (Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier)

- Prototype build and testing support.

- Root cause analysis and problem-solving.

- Design improvements and cost optimization.

Required Skills:





- Robust knowledge of transmission systems (manual gearbox preferred)

- Experience in gear design, clutch systems, and driveline components.

- Proficiency in CAD tools like Creo.

- Hands-on experience with KISS-soft for gear design and analysis.

- Good understanding of GD&T; and manufacturing processes.

- Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, and validation processes.

- Familiarity with materials, heat treatment, and failure analysis

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
