About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager Digital Production to lead our Digital Production function and oversee the successful delivery of eLearning and digital publishing projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational leadership skills, extensive experience managing large production teams, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality digital content within defined timelines and quality standards.

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, optimize production workflows, mentor teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end digital production operations for eLearning and digital publishing projects.
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee project execution to ensure delivery within scope, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
- Manage resource planning, capacity allocation, team utilization, and production schedules to maximize operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of 50+ digital production professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve operational challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Editorial, Design, Technology, and Client Services teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Establish and monitor production KPIs,



quality metrics, productivity targets, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, automation, and operational best practices.
- Prepare and present production dashboards, MIS reports, resource utilization reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to publisher specifications, quality standards, accessibility requirements, and organizational processes.
- Support client interactions by providing operational updates, delivery planning, and issue resolution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, digital publishing trends, eLearning standards, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the production function.

Required Skills

- 8 12+ years of experience in Digital Production, ePublishing, or eLearning operations, with at least 3 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing large production teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of eLearning development workflows, instructional design processes, and digital publishing standards.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, ePub, XML, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital production workflows.




- Good working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Learnosity, iSpring, Avallain, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in resource planning, capacity management, productivity analysis, and operational reporting.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and people development skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Certification in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working with global publishers, educational institutions, or eLearning organizations.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), SCORM, xAPI, and digital learning technologies.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, geographically distributed teams.
- Proven ability to improve operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- A team-oriented leader with a strong customer focus, strategic mindset, and commitment to quality.
