About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with deep hands-on automation expertise to join our engineering team. You will own test strategy, build and maintain automation frameworks, and ensure the highest quality of software delivery across our products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright

- Define and enforce QA standards, test strategies, and best practices across the SDLC

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to shift quality left

- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution with explicit reproducible steps

- Review requirements and user stories to derive comprehensive test coverage

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build workflows

- Mentor junior QA team members on automation tools and testing principles

Required Skills & Experience

- 58 years of overall QA experience in software product environments

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python/JS)

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright





- Strong foundation in QA fundamentals: test planning, test case design, boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, defect lifecycle

- Proven experience building and scaling automation frameworks from scratch (Page Object Model or similar)

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology

Nice to Have

- Experience with performance/load testing (JMeter, k6, Locust)

- Knowledge of mobile automation (Appium)

- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave)

- Experience with cloud-based test execution (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
