Communication & Network Lead will be responsible for overseeing the organizations network infrastructure and communication systems to ensure seamless operations and effective connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, excellent communication skills, and leadership capabilities to manage a team and drive projects forward.

Role & responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management:

- Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency and reliability.
- hands on experience in routing like Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) / Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and good at advanced routing concepts.
- Troubleshoot network issues and collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDE, Fortinet, F5, and PALO ALTO are highly desirable.
- Experience with migrating on-premises data centres to the cloud is preferred.
- Familiarity with O365 Administration, Active Directory, and SharePoint
- Design, implement, and maintain the organizations network infrastructure.

Communication Systems Oversight:

- Manage communication systems including email, VoIP, video conferencing, and messaging platforms.
- Ensure reliable connectivity and effective communication channels across the organization.




- Integrate communication systems with other IT services and business applications

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

- Lead a team of network administrators and communication specialists.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement projects and initiatives.
- Hand on experience on CISCO telephony is added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in network administration, with a focus on infrastructure management and communication systems.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with communication technologies such as email servers, VoIP systems, and collaboration tools.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCDE, Fortinet, PALO ALTO) are a plus
