Required Skills:
- Solid experience in IBM Mainframe technologies
- Hands-on expertise in: COBOL, JCL, DB2 or IMS DB/DC
- Good knowledge of VSAM, and CICS (preferred)
- Experience in application development, enhancements, maintenance, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Develop and support COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC based applications.
- Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect fixing.
- Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Support batch processing, job scheduling, and monitoring activities.
- Work closely with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release management activities.
