Position Summary

We are looking for a energetic and detail-oriented Tender Engineer to manage the preparation,

submission, and follow-up of technical and commercial tenders for Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and MEP projects. The candidate will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and successful bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:-

Tender Management

- Identify and review tender opportunities from GeM, CPPP, E-Procurement portals, and private clients.
- Download, analyze, and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Prepare technical and commercial bids as per tender requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and maintain tender schedules.

Technical Evaluation

- Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements.
- Prepare compliance statements and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams for bid inputs.

Vendor & Costing Coordination

- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Perform techno-commercial comparison of quotations.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and bid summaries.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

Documentation & Compliance





- Prepare and maintain tender-related documentation.
- Ensure submission of statutory documents, certifications, EMD, BG, and other requirements.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders and project databases.

Client Coordination

- Attend pre-bid meetings and clarification discussions.
- Respond to client queries and submit required clarifications.
- Follow up on bid status and project awards.

Required Skills:-

Technical Skills

- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, or MEP systems.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of tendering procedures and contract documentation.

Software Skills

- MS Excel (Advanced)
- MS Word
- PowerPoint
- AutoCAD (Preferred)
- ERP/SAP knowledge is an added advantage

Portal Knowledge (Preferred)

- GeM Portal
- CPPP
- IREPS
- State E-Procurement Portals
- Vendor Registration Portals
