About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-focused Senior HR Specialist to support our U.S. HR Operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Form I-9, E-Verify, and U.S. employment eligibility verification processes. In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate case processing while maintaining compliance with U.S. federal regulations and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and manage Form I-9 and E-Verify cases within defined SLAs and compliance timelines.
- Review and resolve Tentative Non-Confirmations (TNCs), DHS Verification in Process, Final Non-Confirmations (FNCs), and other E-Verify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition teams, and employees to obtain required documentation and resolve verification issues.
- Maintain accurate and complete case documentation in Workday, HRIS platforms, and case management systems.
- Monitor daily case queues, prioritize aging cases, and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Assist in creating and updating SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, quality, compliance, and employee experience.




- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining high productivity and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–6 years of experience in U.S. HR Operations, Form I-9, E-Verify, or employment eligibility verification.
- Good understanding of U.S. employment eligibility verification and compliance regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Experience working with HR systems, case management tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting productivity, quality, and SLA expectations.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in a Shared Services, BPO, or HR Operations environment.
- Exposure to U.S. HR compliance processes and audit support.
- Experience collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
