Role & responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible to extend end to end support Omron project engineer to supervise project for electrical circuit wiring at customer site for panel wiring, field wiring, site installation

1. Project Support Electrical & Mechanical Activities:
Assist Omron Project Managers in overseeing panel wiring, field wiring, and mechanical installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

2. Vendor & Material Coordination:
Coordinate with third-party vendors for electrical and mechanical materials, monitor deliveries, and follow up to ensure timely availability at site.

3. Site Supervision:
Support in office execution of electrical and mechanical works by monitoring daily activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality requirements, and project timelines.

4. Vendor Management & Documentation:
Facilitate vendor and contractor entry at site by verifying and maintaining required documentation as per site rules and compliance standards.

5. Quality Inspection & Issue Resolution:
Identify issues in electrical panel wiring, field wiring, and mechanical installations, and coordinate with Omron engineers to implement corrective actions.





6. Installation Coordination:
Supervise installation of mechanical components such as equipment mounting, cable trays, supports, and structural fittings, ensuring proper alignment with electrical systems.

7. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all electrical and mechanical activities are performed in accordance with safety guidelines, site procedures, and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4 to 6 years of experience in the field of industrial electrical wiring
- Ability to distinguish between different colors for electrical wiring tasks
- Knowledge of electrical installation standards and safety rules
- Ability to read and interpret electrical design blueprints
- Basic understanding of mechanical installation activities (equipment mounting, supports, alignment)

Traveling

- The role requires frequent travel to project sites based on project allocation and execution schedules.
- Willingness to travel on short notice and stay at site locations for extended durations as per project needs.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders during travel.
