We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiology Technician to join our Cardiology Department. The candidate will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures, assisting cardiologists during investigations, operating and maintaining cardiology equipment, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) procedures accurately.
- Conduct Treadmill Tests (TMT) and monitor patients during stress testing.
- Perform Holter Monitor and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) monitoring procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during Echocardiography (ECHO) procedures.
- Conduct Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) as per departmental protocols.
- Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures and explain the process.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during tests and report abnormalities immediately.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.
- Maintain, clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot cardiology equipment.
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Ensure timely reporting and adherence to departmental quality standards.
- Maintain inventory and ensure availability of consumables required for cardiac procedures.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Cardiology Technology / Cardiovascular Technology(Telangana Registration)
- B.Sc. Cardiology Technology / Cardiovascular Technology
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Freshers with relevant training may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ECG, TMT, Holter, ECHO Assistance, and PFT.
- Valuable understanding of cardiac diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to handle cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) will be an added advantage.
- Team player with a patient-centric approach.
