Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered applications using Dot Net, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI, leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Semantic Kernel for agentic orchestration

About the role: In this opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer AI, you will:

- Architect and build Dot Net services and APIs integrating Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using Azure AI Search for hybrid retrieval and grounding
- Develop agentic workflows with tool/function calling, planning, memory, and secure execution boundaries
- Build and manage Semantic Kernel plugins/skills, including planners, connectors, and memory stores
- Implement observability for AI systems (cost, latency, token usage, quality metrics) using App Insights/OpenTelemetry
- Ensure end-to-end solution quality: performance, security, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with product, security, and data teams to align with compliance and business goals
- Drive architecture best practices and engineering excellence across projects
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and author technical RFCs

About you: Youre a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer AI if your background includes:

- 6+ Years of Experience with Dot Net technologies
- C#/Dot Net ASPDot Net Core: Advanced async, streaming, DI,



clean architecture, performance tuning; REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT), caching, resiliency
- Azure AI OpenAI: GPT models, embeddings, function calling, streaming responses, cost optimisation
- Azure AI Search Studio: Indexing, hybrid search (BM25 + vectors), skillsets, enrichers, re-ranking; prompt flows and evaluation pipelines
- RAG Agentic AI: Chunking, metadata enrichment, hybrid retrieval, citation fidelity; multi-tool orchestration, planners, memory, guardrails
- Semantic Kernel (C#): Kernels, semantic/native skills, connectors, planners, memory stores
- Azure Infrastructure: App Service, Functions, AKS, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault
- Security Compliance: PII handling, data residency, auditability, threat modelling
- Testing Quality: Unit, integration, contract, load testing, CI/CD
- Nice-to-Have: Cognitive Services (Document Intelligence, Speech, Vision), advanced AI Search (scoring profiles, multi-source ingestion), AI observability (hallucination detection, RAG evaluation), frontend (Blazor/React with streaming UX), knowledge graphs (Neo4j/RDF)
