JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 6 - 8 years of experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on the TAMM government services platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automation testing across web and mobile platforms, along with experience in API, database, performance, and emerging AI testing practices.

Engagement: 6 months to 1 year (extendable)

Work Hours: Aligned to Abu Dhabi Time (GST, UTC+4)

Delivery Mode: Offshore, Hyderabad, India

Platform: TAMM Abu Dhabi Government Services Portal

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across browsers and devices.
- Conduct front-end UI testing to validate responsiveness, usability, and visual consistency.
- Execute manual testing using proxy/interceptor tools such as Proxyman or Charles to inspect and manipulate network traffic.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Python.
- Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or similar frameworks, validating functionality, reliability, and security.
- Conduct database testing to verify data integrity, consistency, and backend validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in AI/ML testing including validation of model outputs, data quality checks, and bias detection where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers,



and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test strategy improvements.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- 6 - 8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience in UI testing for both web and mobile platforms.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in Python for automation scripting.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and tools (REST/GraphQL).
- Good knowledge of database testing and SQL.
- Familiarity with proxy/interceptor tools Proxyman or Charles.
- Exposure to AI testing concepts and validation techniques.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior experience testing government portals, e-services platforms, or high-traffic citizen-facing applications.
- ISTQB or relevant QA certifications are a plus.
