Role & responsibilities

- Process insurance claim files accurately and within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Scrutinize claim documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with insurer guidelines.
- Coordinate with surveyors, insurance companies, policyholders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth claim processing.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain claim-related documentation and records.
- Follow up on pending documents, approvals, and claim status with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of claim reports and supporting documents to insurance companies.
- Update claim management systems with accurate and complete information.
- Monitor claim progress and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and claim-related information.
- Ensure adherence to organizational processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate periodic MIS reports and assist in claim tracking and operational reporting.
- Support the team in achieving departmental productivity and quality objectives.

Preferred candidate profile





- Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with a background in Insurance, Commerce, Management, or related fields will be preferred.
- 37 years of experience in insurance claim processing, claims administration, or insurance operations. Freshers with strong aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
- Good understanding of General Insurance claim processes will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong documentation, data entry, and record management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under defined timelines.
- Robust coordination and follow-up skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
