Requirements (Must-Have)

- 5+ years in software QA/test engineering, with 3+ years in test automation.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of: TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python (and the ability to ramp quickly on ours).
- Hands-on experience with a modern automation framework in your language e.g. Playwright / Cypress (JS/TS), Selenium / RestAssured (Java), or Playwright / Selenium / Pytest (Python).
- Solid API testing experience (REST): request/response validation, auth, status/schema assertions.
- Working knowledge of SQL / relational databases able to query and validate data directly for test verification.
- Deep understanding of QA fundamentals: test design techniques, test pyramid, boundary/edge-case analysis, regression strategy.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Proficiency with Git and pull-request-based workflows.




- Strong debugging skills able to root-cause flaky tests and distinguish product bugs from test defects.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to write precise bug reports and defend quality decisions.

Valuable to Have (Nice-to-Have)

- Experience with test reporting/dashboards (Allure or similar).
- Testing real-time systems (SignalR, WebSockets, event-driven flows).
- Email/notification testing via IMAP/SMTP.
- Data-driven testing with structured sources (Excel, CSV, JSON) and schema validation.
- Performance/load testing (k6, JMeter, Locust) and/or security testing basics (OWASP awareness).
- Contract testing, visual regression, or accessibility (a11y) testing.
- Containerized test environments (Docker) and cloud test grids.
- Domain experience in EdTech / SaaS.
