Regional Security Operations Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Overview
The Regional Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing security service delivery across multiple sites within the assigned region. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with contractual obligations, and proactive risk management. The Regional Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for security operations, liaising with key stakeholders and leading a team of security personnel to protect employees, assets, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in security operations, leadership, and crisis response.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs
Security Operations & Compliance
- Oversee regional security operations, ensuring full compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct weekly site visits to validate adherence to Assignment Instructions, post orders, and audit requirements (100% audit pass rate expected).
- Ensure 100% patrol coverage across assigned sites, identifying and mitigating risks proactively. Maintain 100% compliance with security personnel licensing and certification requirements (e.g., First Aid, CPR, AED).
Crisis Management & Investigations
- Proactively monitor for threats impacting personnel, property, or reputation, ensuring 100% timely escalation and resolution.
- Lead or assist in security investigations related to threats, theft, vandalism, and workplace violence, ensuring action plans are completed within SLA.
- Oversee incident response procedures, collaborating with law enforcement, emergency responders,
and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Client Relations
- Act as the primary security liaison for the company within the assigned region, engaging in monthly business reviews to assess and improve service delivery.
- Provide security consulting and risk assessments to support corporate events, VIP visits, and special projects, ensuring 100% event coverage.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, IT, and Facilities) to address security concerns and enhance business continuity.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team, ensuring training completion rates meet or exceed 90% of required role-based training.
- Monitor recruitment and retention metrics, targeting and -year retention for critical security roles.
- Ensure uniform compliance inspections are conducted weekly, maintaining 100% compliance with uniform standards.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Develop and maintain monthly security reports, including threat assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and operational performance metrics.
Identify and implement operational efficiencies, aiming for 10%+ improvement in response times, resource allocation, or cost reduction strategies.
Oversee the timely completion of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), achieving 100% on-time completion .
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- In Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, GSOC, or risk management roles.
- Strong leadership experience, with proven ability to manage multi-site operations and high-pressure security incidents.
- Excellent crisis management skills, with the ability to make rapid, informed decisions during security events.
- Proficiency in security management software, access control systems, and incident reporting tools.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Crisis Management Specialist (CMS).
- Experience working in large-scale corporate security environments with global security operations integration.
- Familiarity with security regulations, compliance standards, and enterprise risk management frameworks.
Additional Information:
- Must be flexible with work schedules, including availability for emergency response, travel, and periodic off-hour engagements.
- Ability to travel regionally as required to support security operations, audits, and site visits. Physically capable of patrolling, standing for extended periods, and responding to emergencies.
