Role & responsibilities

- Install air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in AC units.
- Install and repair split AC, package units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Check refrigerant pressure and recharge refrigerant as required.
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and cooling coils.
- Clean filters, ducts, coils, and drain lines.
- Replace faulty electrical components such as contactors, capacitors, relays, thermostats, and motors.
- Read electrical wiring diagrams and HVAC drawings.
- Test system performance and ensure productive cooling.
