- Plan and monitor daily/weekly production schedules to meet demand.
- Supervise shift operators and production staff to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Drive process improvements to optimize yield, reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance and stores teams for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory compliance on the shop floor.
- Analyze production data and prepare MIS reports for plant management.
- Support manpower planning and training for production staff.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E./Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in steel/metal manufacturing production, with team supervision experience.
