A leading client of Empower Resources requires Senior Utility Professional for a reputed branded

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical Distribution & HT Utilities: Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution systems; manage HT Yard operations, including preventive and breakdown maintenance; ensure uninterrupted power supply to production and utility equipment; maintain transformers, switchgear, RMUs, VCBs, ACBs, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, and distribution panels; monitor power quality and electrical system reliability; coordinate with electricity board authorities for shutdowns, inspections, and power-related issues; ensure electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.

Utility Equipment Management: Responsible for operation and maintenance of Power Transformers, DG Sets, Servo Stabilizers, Chillers, Process Cooling Water (PCW) System, HVAC Systems, Air Handling Units (AHU), Compressed Air System, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Cooling Towers, Industrial Lighting Systems, Water Pumps, Utility Distribution Networks, Electrical Control Panels, UPS Systems, Battery Banks.

HVAC & Environmental Control: Ensure optimum performance of HVAC systems supporting manufacturing operations; monitor temperature and humidity requirements for production areas; optimize energy consumption of HVAC systems; plan preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability.

Process Cooling Water (PCW) System: Operate and maintain Process Cooling Water systems; monitor water flow, temperature, pressure,



and quality; ensure uninterrupted cooling to production equipment; coordinate maintenance of pumps, pipelines, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.

Compressed Air System: Manage compressors, air dryers, air receivers, and distribution lines; ensure required pressure and air quality throughout the plant; minimize compressed air leakages and improve system efficiency; monitor compressor performance and energy consumption.

Chiller & Cooling Systems: Operate industrial chillers and associated cooling equipment; monitor refrigeration parameters and cooling efficiency; schedule preventive maintenance and troubleshooting; improve energy efficiency of cooling systems.

Plant Lighting Systems: Maintain indoor and outdoor industrial lighting systems; plan LED conversion and energy-saving initiatives; ensure adequate illumination as per safety standards.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop annual preventive maintenance schedules; execute predictive maintenance using thermography, vibration analysis, insulation resistance testing, and other condition monitoring techniques; reduce equipment failures through root cause analysis and corrective actions; maintain maintenance history and equipment records.

Energy Management:



Monitor electrical power consumption and utility usage; identify energy-saving opportunities; reduce utility costs through optimization initiatives; track plant energy KPIs and utility performance; support implementation of ISO 50001 energy management practices where applicable.

Breakdown Maintenance: Lead emergency troubleshooting and restoration of critical utility systems; coordinate cross-functional teams during plant shutdowns; ensure minimum production loss due to utility failures; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules, Factory Act, and applicable statutory regulations; implement Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures and secure isolation practices; conduct electrical safety audits and risk assessments; ensure availability and periodic testing of electrical protection systems; maintain statutory inspection records and utility documentation.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain equipment history cards and maintenance logs; prepare utility performance reports and downtime analysis; maintain SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance manuals; monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement.

Team Management: Lead and supervise utility engineers, technicians, electricians, and contractors; allocate manpower and monitor daily maintenance activities; conduct technical and safety training for maintenance personnel; evaluate team performance and drive continuous skill development.
