Main Purpose:

- The Senior Engineer Artificial Lift is responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of Artificial Lift Systems for CBM wells to ensure sustained and efficient gas production.
- The role involves supporting field operations related to Artificial Lift equipment, including PCP, SRP, ESP, Progressive Cavity Pumps, ESDP, plunger lift systems, VFDs, and associated surface facilities, while ensuring compliance with HSE and statutory requirements.
- The incumbent shall coordinate with the Production, Workover, Reservoir, Electrical, and Maintenance teams to maximize well performance and minimize downtime. Job Accountabilities:
- Analyze well performance data, production trends, fluid levels, pump efficiency, and downtime to optimize well performance.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Artificial Lift systems deployed across CBM fields.
- Plan and execute the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Artificial Lift equipment.
- Coordinate with the Production and Reservoir teams for well intervention requirements and production enhancement opportunities.
- Support the Workover and Completion teams during Artificial Lift deployment and retrieval operations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of VFDs, controllers, downhole pumps, motors, and associated instrumentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis of Artificial Lift failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain Artificial Lift operational records, failure databases, well histories, and performance reports.
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely maintenance and troubleshooting support.
- Ensure the availability of critical spares and consumables required for uninterrupted operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly production and Artificial Lift performance reports.
- Participate in well performance reviews and recommend suitable optimization strategies to improve gas production.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, SOPs, the PTW system, and statutory regulations during field operations.
- Support the implementation of new Artificial Lift technologies and digital monitoring systems for CBM operations.
- Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure operational reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and field operators.

Skills Required:

- Good understanding of Artificial Lift system design, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Knowledge of production enhancement techniques and well surveillance practices.
- Familiarity with VFDs, SCADA systems, production monitoring tools, and field instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Workover and Completion operations related to Artificial Lift systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret production data and recommend operational improvements.
- Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and production analysis software/tools.
- Understanding of HSE standards and protected operational practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Basic working knowledge of C-FER and Rodstar.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience:

- 5 years of relevant experience in Artificial Lift operations within the Oil & Gas, CBM, or upstream sector.
- Experience in handling PCP, SRP, ESP, ESDP, Gas Lift, Plunger Lift, and associated production systems will be preferred.
- Exposure to CBM operations and dewatering systems will be an added advantage.
